The staff of the Catholic Cemeteries of the Archdiocese of Chicago
invites you to a Day of faith, remembrance, visitation and prayer at their cemeteries listed below.
At each of the listed cemeteries, there will be a “White Information Tent” where our
staff will be pleased to assist you in finding exact burial locations
or be able to answer your cemetery questions or concerns.
On a memorialization banner, inside each of the tents, you will find the names of all those who have been buried within the cemetery from mid-October 2010 through mid-October 2011. We ask you to stop by the tent and see your loved one so visually honored.
At 2:00 PM we invite you to gather in the Interment Chapel of the cemetery where as a Community of Faith, we will join together for a Prayer Service where your beloved deceased will be remembered in the recitation of the Rosary and you and your intentions will be remembered in the Prayers of the Faithful.
We look forward to the opportunity of seeing and sharing our ministry with you through our “Open House and Rosary Prayer Service”.
On Cemetery Sunday, we invite you in the words of Blessed John Paul II…
“…it is the pious tradition during these days for the faithful
to go visit the graves of their dear ones and to pray for them.”
