Assumption Catholic Cemetery serves the population in the far south suburbs of the Archdiocese. Saint Anne Cemetery in Park Forest, Calvary Cemetery in Steger and Saint James Cemetery in Sauk village are three parish cemeteries that are also cared for by Assumption Cemetery. In 1977 a Garden Crypt Complex was erected in the western portion of the cemetery. Assumption has a new office and revitalized Interment Chapel which was completed in 1992.
