About
St. Joseph Cemetery was founded by the German Angel Guardian Society, as St. Boniface on Chicago’s North Side neared capacity. Several affiliated members of the Society and priests are buried here.
One of the most prominent features of St. Joseph Cemetery is the limestone Community Mausoleum, done in a Gothic architectural style and featuring an outdoor altar and statuary.
The Garden Mausoleum crypt complexes feature outdoor above-ground burial spaces for full-body and cremated remains.

I love the Cemetery... Most of my family is buried here and I will be buried here... I just love being here. It’s so peaceful, calm and loving. The groundskeeping team is just amazing.
We buried my husband's ashes at St. Michael's cemetery and will always remember the wonderful care we were given... The entire staff was marvelous.
I am pleased with how easy it was to pick out our grave spots.
