Assumption Catholic Cemetery and Mausoleum

Consecrated in 1952, Assumption Catholic Cemetery was established to serve the population of the far south Chicago suburbs. The cemetery spans 193 acres west of Cottage Grove Avenue in Glenwood, Illinois and has over 19,000 interments (as of 12/31/22).

In 1977, the Garden Mausoleum crypt complex was opened, which features outdoor above-ground burial spaces for full-body and cremated remains.
